Conscious Capitalism Florida offers a variety of presentations and talks that can we can host at your organization or company. We regularly meet with chambers of commerce, business groups, college organizations and private companies to present the tenants of Conscious Capitalism and to help people understand how they can implement them in their own organizations.

Advocate for Benefit Corporation Legislation in Florida

Benefit corporations are exactly the same as traditional corporations except for three little things that make them game-changers: higher standards of purpose, accountability, and transparency. Benefit corporation laws have been enacted in 20 states including the District of Columbia and are moving forward in 16 others. Legislation has enjoyed overwhelming bi-partisan support — including 12 unanimous votes — because the legislation is 100% voluntary and costs states nothing.

By voluntarily meeting higher standards of transparency, accountability, and performance, Certified B Corps are distinguishing themselves in a cluttered marketplace by offering a positive vision of a better way to do business.

Conscious Concepts Network

Across Florida there are thousands of initiatives working independently on finding solutions for today’s challenges through innovation and entrepreneurship. We believe that these groups benefit by knowing about each other. We’re partnering with other organizations and institutions to form a network of initiatives from across the state to bring people with similar ideas together in an effort to exponentially increase innovation.

College Student Chapters

The business leaders of tomorrow are being educated by the universities of today. College graduates that understand the competitive advantage of Conscious Capitalism will be better suited to lead the innovative businesses of our emerging economy. Students in college chapters supported by Conscious Capitalism Florida learn the how Florida businesses are innovating and growing our economy. They will also know that their career can flourish right here in Florida.

Conscious Capitalism Florida Summit

We are working to develop a Conscious Capitalism summit for Florida in 2014 modeled after the two day conference in San Francisco held in April 2013 to raise awareness and promote the Conscious Capitalism movement and Conscious Capitalism Florida.
